L' IRAN en conjonction avec les autres pays du Golfe va augmenter la production des champs "communs".

Iran to pump more oil at joint fields.

Iran plans to pump more crude from three oil fields shared with Oman, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia in the Persian Gulf, an Iranian energy official says.

The oil-rich country is scheduled to increase its oil production of the fields by 30,000 barrels per day or 20 percent, Mahmoud Zirakchianzadeh, managing director of Iran's Offshore Oil Company (IOOC), told Mehr news agency on Sunday.

He said that some 400 million euros have been allocated for the development of Esfandiar oil field, which Iran shares with Saudi Arabia.

"Oil output of Salman and Forouzan oil fields will increase by 10,000 barrels per day," Zirakchianzadeh said.

Iran also shares its Salman and Forouzan oil fields with the UAE and Oman, respectively.


Salman oil field in the Persian Gulf

Last week, Iran began pumping oil from the Hengam oilfield, shared with neighboring Oman in the Persian Gulf.

"The field is to produce 10,000 barrels per day of the finest and lightest of Iranian crude in the first phase, but its production level will reach 16,000 barrels in two months," IRNA quoted Iranian Oil Minister Massoud Mirkazemi as saying on Tuesday.

He said Iran's oil ministry invested around $400 million in a record time of two years to develop the project.

The Hengam oilfield is located along the maritime border with Oman. Tehran said the field is estimated to hold nearly 600 million barrels of oil.

All aspects of the project, including field studies, design, construction and installing of machinery and pipelines have been carried out by Iranian contractors without any foreign aid.

Energy officials in Tehran said in July that as much as 35 percent of the energy development budget in Iran will go toward the development of joint oil fields.

Iran shares oil fields with most of its neighbors in the Persian Gulf region as well as Turkmenistan.

Bon ils auraient aussi bien fait de réduire les subventions à la consommation.

Le 24 Avril 2010 les Iraniens disaient que leurs constructions de rafineries pour étre auto sufisant serait terminé 3 ans plus tard !

J' ai l' impression qu' ils ont peut étre atteint 66 millions de litre toute voile dehors sur une courte durée.
Dans la réalité la capacité de rafinnage ne peut jamais étre utilisée à 100% à cause des incidents et maintenance préventive. L' article dit que les déclarations sont en contradiction avec des déclarations récente disant qu' il manquait encore 2 rafineries.

Et rapelle une nouvelle fois sa déclaration d' étre maintenant autonome en production de carburant.

A la fin : les Iraniens on droit à 60 litres au tarif de 1000 rials/l soit 0.11 $/l

Iran exports gasoline shipment to Iraq

TEHRAN -- Iran exported its first domestically produced gasoline to Iraq, the manager of international affairs at the National Iranian Oil Company said on Tuesday.


The Mehr News Agency quoted Ali-Asghar Arshi as saying that three or four more shipments will be exported in near future.

Iranian Oil Minister Masoud Mirkazemi announced earlier in September that the country reached self-sufficiency after increasing its gasoline production to 66.5 million liters.

He later said Iran had stopped placing orders for gasoline purchase from abroad after increasing its domestic production.

Around 40 days ago Iran stopped the export of petrochemical products following the implementation of a crash program to boost gasoline production in domestic petrochemical units.

Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Abdolhossein Bayat previously explained that gasoline production capacity in 6 petrochemical complexes has reached 19 million liters a day, and added, “Currently what is produced in petrochemical complexes is transferred to oil refineries and transformed into high octane gasoline.""

The managing director of the National Iranian Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company Ali-Reza Zeighami said on August 29 Iran is about to take-off on producing a target 191 million liters of gasoline a day. He said that the country consumes 64 million liters a day.

He added that if the gasoline rationing plan is not implemented the consumption figure will increase between 100 to 120 million liters a day.

Zeighami pointed out that the gasoline production plan will mostly be carried out by the end of the Fifth Development Plan (2015).

Tougher gasoline sanctions over Iran's nuclear program imposed in recent months have restricted fuel imports. Increasing pump prices in Iran is aimed at cooling demand as well as saving state cash.

Iran announced on Sept. 7 it had achieved a massive increase in its refining capacity and no longer needed to import 20 million liters of its 64-million-liter daily consumption.

Under the rationing scheme introduced in 2007, a motorist can buy 60 liters of subsidized fuel per month for just 1,000 rials per liter (around $0.11). Beyond that amount they have to pay a ""semi-subsidized"" price of 4,000 rials

Ca a déjà ete voté, maintenant le plus dur c' est la mise en pratique.

Au début c' était subventionné pour permettre "de partager les revenus pétroliers". Mais avec un baril à 75$ ils se disent que c' est dommage d' en étre arrivé au "gaspillage" alors que le pétrole peut étre vendu un bon prix sur la mrché mondial.

Le quota de carburant vendu à "extremely low prices" à éét divisé par deux pour commencer.

Des chéques de compensation financiéres vont étre adréssé aux foyers pour amortir le choc.

L' IRAN va mettre en route une capacité de production nouvelle de 60000 b/j d' ici un mois.

The managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has announced that Iran's crude oil production will increase by more than 60,000 barrels a day in less than one month.



Once Jofeir and Darkhovein oilfields come on line officially , Iran's crude output will hike by 60,000 barrels per day (bpd), the Iranian Oil Ministry's official news agency Shana quoted Ahmad Qalebani as saying on Sunday.

Surenchère entre l'Iran et l'Irak sur leurs réserves de pétrole

TEHERAN (Reuters) - L'Iran a relevé lundi l'estimation de ses réserves de pétrole à un niveau qui lui permet de redevenir le troisième pays pétrolier de la planète, un rang que l'Irak lui avait ravi il y a tout juste une semaine.

Le ministre iranien du Pétrole, Massoud Mirkazemi, a annoncé lors d'une conférence de presse que l'Iran disposait de réserves s'élevant à 150,31 milliards de barils, contre 138 milliards annoncés lors d'une précédente estimation, et a ajouté que ce chiffre pourrait encore être relevé très bientôt.

"Ce dernier chiffre sera sans aucun doute relevé d'ici la fin de l'année", a-t-il assuré.

Lundi dernier, l'Irak a relevé de 25% l'estimation de ses réserves prouvées de pétrole, pour la porter à 143 milliards de barils.

Avec ce chiffre, l'Irak dépassait l'Iran en la matière et devenait le deuxième pays pétrolier mondial derrière l'Arabie saoudite en termes de pétrole conventionnel (facile à extraire et à raffiner) et occupait la troisième place derrière le Venezuela si l'on comptabilise les réserves de pétrole non conventionnel.

Ces révisions sont à replacer dans la perspective de la réunion de l'Organisation des pays exportateurs de pétrole (Opep) jeudi. L'Irak a reconnu la semaine dernière que sa révision lui permettrait de bénéficier à l'avenir d'un quota de production plus élevé de la part de l'Opep.

"Cela ressemble presque à de la surenchère", a commenté Amrita Sen, analyste chez Barclays, à propos des annonces successives de l'Irak et de l'Iran.

LE GAZ ÉGALEMENT CONCERNÉ

Les réserves de pétrole sont l'un des critères habituellement pris en compte, avec la capacité de production, lors du calcul des quotas de production au sein du cartel.

La réunion de jeudi de l'Opep ne devrait cependant pas définir de nouveaux quotas de production ou ne devrait pas modifier les objectifs de production.

Amrita Sen rappelle que l'estimation des réserves de pétrole n'est qu'un élément retenu pour déterminer les quotas de production car elle ne reflète pas la capacité d'un pays à extraire son pétrole brut et à approvisionner le marché.

"Il ne s'agit pas de connaître la taille des réserves dans le sol mais celle du pétrole qu'ils peuvent produire. Le taux de production de l'Iran dans ses champs matures est l'un des plus élevés du monde", souligne-t-il.

Massoud Mirkazemi a dit que la capacité de production de l'Iran était de 4,2 millions de barils par jour mais que le pays en produisait moins en raison des quotas de l'Opep.

Il a également relevé l'estimation des réserves gazières iraniennes, les deuxièmes dans le monde derrière celles de la Russie, à 33.100 milliards de mètre cube, contre 28.000 milliards estimés précédemment.

L'Iran a découvert un nouveau champ gazier dans le sud de la province d'Hormozgan, a dit Massoud Mirkazemi. Le champ de Sefid (White) dispose de réserves évaluées à 70 milliards de mètres cubes de gaz, dont 72% sont récupérables, a-t-il dit.

En particulier la compagnie pétroliére du Venezuela (nationalisée) va participer à la phase 12 de South pars (projet Gazier).

Iran and Venezuela signed 11 agreements in Tehran late on Wednesday, including one on establishing a joint oil company.


The other memorandums of understanding were on the involvement of the Venezuelan Oil Company in Phase 12 of the South Pars gas field, the construction of a refinery in Syria, cooperation in liquefied natural gas and oil tanker activities, and cooperation in the petrochemical and energy sectors.

The agreements were signed in Tehran at the sixth session of the two countries’ joint industrial committee, which Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez attended.

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's self-sufficiency in gasoline production surprised the world and greatly affected the world oil and energy markets, a senior Iranian legislator stressed on Saturday.

"Iran has disturbed all global energy market equations by attaining self-sufficiency in the production of gasoline," member of the parliament's Energy Commission Majid Nasserinejad told FNA.

Nasserinejad also dismissed the negative propaganda launched by certain western media which allege the boost in Iran's gasoline production is just a temporary plan, and said, "The production of gasoline inside the country is not a short-term plan, rather it is a long-term trend of self-sufficiency and will remain stable."

He further noted the international and unilateral sanctions imposed against Iran's gasoline imports, and reiterated that the UN Security Council and certain countries' plots to put pressure on Iran failed to yield the desired results for them.

Iran gasoline refineries to produce 55m lpd by year end

TEHRAN – Iran’s refineries’ gasoline production will be increased up to 55 million liters per day (lpd) by the end of current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2011), the managing director of the National Iranian Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company said here on Saturday.


The Islamic Republic of Iran News Network quoted Ali-Reza Zeighami as saying that “the development plans of Shazand, Abadan, and Tehran Refineries will come on stream in February.”

Zeighami reported in August that Iran has allocated $2.2 billion for seven gasoline production and refinery renovation projects.

Currently the projects are 70 percent complete on the average.

“Once the projects come on stream, 12 million liters of gasoline would be added to the country’s production capacity and 70 percent of the nation’s demand for the product will be met domestically,” Zeighami explained.

TEHRAN - Iran has discovered a new oil layer with about 34 billion barrels of in situ reserves in the Ferdowsi gas field, located in the Persian Gulf, the managing director of the Pars Oil and Gas Company announced on Sunday.

Appraisal drilling operations are currently underway to estimate the deposit more accurately, the SHANA news agency quoted POGC Managing Director Ali Vakili as saying.

He said exploration efforts would continue for the discovery of new fields, adding that the volume of the country's reserves “will definitely increase” by the end of the Iranian calendar year in March 2011.

Iran and Turkmenistan started today the second phase of a $1.2 billion pipeline that will double exports of Turkmen gas to the Persian Gulf country to 20 billion cubic meters a year, Press TV said.

The opening ceremony, attended by Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov, took place earlier today in the border city of Sarakhs in northern Iran, the state-run news channel said.

“Iran is ready for any cooperation with Turkmenistan,” Ahmadinejad said in a speech at the ceremony, part of which was shown live on Press TV.

Turkmenistan, holder of the world’s fourth-largest natural gas reserves, opened a pipeline in January 2009 to deliver gas to neighbouring Iran as the central Asian nation sought to diversify markets.

lien fin des subventions sur le prix de l'essence en Iran. Le prix des 60 premiers litres achetés par un foyer dans un mois, actuellelent ridicule (8 centimes d'euros), va quadrupler. Même si ca restera un prix extrêmement bas pas rapport à ce qu'on connait en occident, ça fait grincer des dents.

Cette mesure devrait donner un coup de frein à la hausse de la consommation interne du pays (le pays brule déjà 40% de sa production, et importe beaucoup d'essence raffinée), mais pourrait aussi ranimer les tensions sociales.

Si on cherche des conséquences concrètes du passage du pic/VPO en voici une intéressante et très révélatrice. La fin de la vie facile sera finalement très largement partagée de par le monde.

La fin des subventions de consommation de carburants dans les pays producteurs est une bonnes nouvelles. C'est l'équivalant de la Janco-taxe chez les importateurs de pétrole.
